Spacer Dear Guzzler: How many beers should a golfer safely consume in one round?

A: Just like the interlocking versus overlapping grip, there is no right answer. It depends on the golfer. Golfers with really big bags and those huge zipper pockets can safely consume well over a 12-pack. Golfers with superlight carry bags may only be able to safely consume two or three. My advice: If you are stupid enough to have a carry bag, make room for more liquid pleasure by leaving a few clubs at home. Standing on the eighth tee, an extra brew always looks better than a lob wedge.
