Dear Guzzler: Can you replace a ball once on the green, or must you play the ball that got you there?
ron.aubin@hypertherm.com
A: No ball can be replaced unless it is unfit for play. By the time I get to the green, it usually is.
Dear Guzzler: Who is the youngest player to shoot their age on a regulation course?
jerryl@pacificnet.net
A: Gee, I dunno. My friends have trouble hitting their weight.
Dear Guzzler: I shoot consistently in the high 70s low 80s but lately I have been hitting many fat shots with
woods and irons. What the hell am I doing?
dcap1004@ixnetcom.com
A: Sounds to me like you should try Lite. Hey, don't groan. This is what it comes to when the Guzzler turns teaching pro.
Dear Guzzler: What are you supposed to do when your golf friends have a tee time on Sunday morning ... drinking-beer-wise, I mean ?
pmwebb@gte.net
A: Where I live, it is illegal to buy beer before noon on Sundays. (Jackbooted thugs.) It is also a universal club rule that golfers cannot carry their own beverages on to the course. This can cause a dilemma on Sunday mornings. Luckily, there is a solution. Ignore that stupid club rule, but do it discreetly. Don't pop a cold one until after you're off the first tee box.
